Care instructions
Durability of our jewelry depends on many factors such as frequency of wear, humidity of the air, acidity of your skin and it’s hard to predict how long it will last as it varies from person to person. To preserve longevity avoid water, humidity, perfume or lotions, and store your jewelry in a box or poly-bag. Always remove the jewelry before shower, sleep & exercise!
Sizing details
HOW TO FIGURE OUT BRACELET SIZE:
1. Use a flexible measuring tape or piece of string, and gently wrap it around wrist, just below the wrist-bone, in the same place where you would place a watch.
2. Take note of the measurement if using a measuring tape, or cut the string to the proper length. Then lay the string out straight and measure it using a ruler.
3. Add ½” to the measurement to obtain the proper bracelet size.
SIZE CHART
6.5" wrist - size: 7” L single/dbl. strand or 14”L wrap bracelet
7" wrist - size: 7.5” L single/dbl. strand or 14.5”L for wrap bracelet
7.5" wrist - size 8" L for single/dbl. stand or 15" L for wrap bracelet
Age Bracelet size
4 – 7 years 5 ½” – 6″
7 – 10 years 6” – 6 ¼”
Teen 6 ½” – 7”+
Delivery Delays
All orders are shipped via the USPS first class mail and there may be delays in delivery due to COVID-19 restrictions and Felt Like Paper is not responsible for delivery times. Regarding any mail delivery delays after your order is shipped, please contact the USPS customer service @ 1 (800) 275 8777 or www.usps.com and use your order's tracking number.
International Customers:
Occasionally packages get held up at customs and this may cause delays up to 7 weeks. This is not common, but it happens. We don't have any control over this, it's in hands of your country's customs officials and postal service...and sometimes they unfortunately take their sweet time!
Gift wrapping and packaging
Gifts can be shipped directly to the gift recipients, just make sure to provide us with accurate shipping address for the recipient(s) at the checkout. Gifts for multiple recipients have to be purchased separately for each recipient as Etsy does not allow to ship to multiple addresses.
Custom and personalized orders
Due to a high volume of orders, we are currently unable to take custom orders, sorry!
Incorrect shipping address
We will not be held responsible for any incorrect addresses provided by the customer at checkout - but please note that we are able to accommodate corrections if they are caught by the customer before shipping. Otherwise, the orders can only be re-shipped once they are returned to us, and re-shipping fees are the buyer responsibility.
Stolen/Lost Packages
Please note that Felt Like Paper is NOT liable for lost or stolen packages, if your package is marked delivered it means it was scanned by your post man before it's put in your mail box. If you did not receive it, it was most likely stolen and you need to file a police report and a claim with the USPS: https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/investigations/MailFraud/fraudschemes/mailtheft/ReportMailTheft.aspx
Once you have that then you can get compensation through your credit card company or your home owner’s/renter’s insurance.
What is the transit time for an order once it is shipped?
DOMESTIC
USPS - First Class Mail: 2-6 business days
USPS - Priority Mail: 1-4 business days
INTERNATIONAL
USPS - Global Postal Shipping /First Class International: 1-6 weeks
USPS - Priority Mail International: 6-10 business days
This method comes with a tracking number when shipped. Once the package leaves the country, tracking will show the order standing still at a major US Port. This does not mean it is stuck! In this case, it’s moving overseas and not updating the US system until delivery. Keep in mind that this method will only update where the package is within the US - once it ships overseas, we are not able to provide any additional insight on the order's whereabouts other than what the tracking shows. (We see what you see!)
USPS new delivery times as of October 2021
- Mail being delivered 140 or fewer miles to be delivered within 2 days;
- Within 3 days for mail traveling between 140 and 930 miles;
- 4 days for mail traveling between 930 and 1,907 miles;
- And within 5 days for mail traveling longer distances.
